a study in domestic bliss: jam

I just finished a book and one of the main characters was addicted to his word-a-day calendar. The author worked it into his thoughts and daily attempts to use and expand his vocabulary. It was entertaining - and it kept reminding me of the episode of Friends where Joey is explaining what moo[t] means. So funny.

Joey: All right, Rach. The big question is, "does he like you?" All right? Because if he doesn't like you, this is all a moo point.
Rachel: Huh. A moo point?
Joey: Yeah, it's like a cow's opinion. It just doesn't matter. It's moo.
Rachel: Have I been living with him for too long, or did that all just make sense?

I dropped the camera for the umpteenth time a few days ago and did some damage. Sadness. It puts me in a photo jam, right? So I looked up jam and was once again reminded how ridiculous the English language can be...like 20 definitions for jam?! Let's see how many of them I can cover. I'll even use them in a sentence! I was just telling Dustin that it's becoming exceedingly obvious to me that I haven't 'worked' in nearly a year...can you tell? My poor brain.

And no, this was not planned, and yes, these are in fact just random pictures I've taken in August.
