camping: sprickster style

Cinnamon rolls are a must, according to Party Chief Dustin. Look good, don't they? There were actually 2 pans, but Dustin & I polished the other one off tonight while watching Alice in Wonderland (which was really good according to Dustin and creepy according to Allison).

Alright, so we didn't actually eat all of them...but still keep any and all healthy eating habit comments to yourself, please.

The kids tried out their sleeping bags while Daddy mowed the lawn this evening.
They. are. excited.
Little Miss was a bit put out to learn Mouse wouldn't be getting his own bag, but I have since assured her that he will indeed fit alongside his keeper. That girl and her mouse *rolls eyes*...

Here's to hoping we parents get a smidge of sleep this weekend! If not, surely we can survive on the sugar content of aforementioned yummy baked goods, don't you think??

vertical organization

3 hooks were recently put above the kids' shoe area, presumably for jackets & backpacks. Little Mister, however, very much likes hanging everyone's shoes - leaving the backpacks on the floor and tossing the jackets into his bottom dresser drawer. Hmmm.

a muffin making morning

Once they popped out of the oven, she shuffled them to the table, put 4 on her placemat and said, "MINE!" Then she pointed to the others and said, "MINE! After nap."

fancy in flowers ❃

She can finally wear the 12mo sized dress she got last year for her 1st birthday - hooray! It is a weensy bit short though...

ta-da!

It was actually finished several days ago, but I still need a button for the neck...who knows when that will happen, so I may as well put up a 'all done' pic now. It's cute in the pic, but it's SUPER cute in person. Can't wait for Paige to wear it next year.

squeaky clean

Little Mister's first trip to the dentist was wildly successful - mostly due to super nice hygienist Lousie that let him suction & water Mommy's mouth the entire time she was getting her teeth checked. Really, how could it go badly when his two favorite things (vacuums & water hoses) were involved? He was a champ though - what a big guy! I don't imagine Pip's first trip will go as well...'NO!' =)
