midsummer night's dream

Alright, so it's not technically summer yet, and these were after 2 naps last week.  But really.  Could he be cuter?  Doubtful.

Our Lakewood house is sold and 92% of our possessions are in storage while we figure out where we'd like to live.  It's still a bit strange to think we don't have our home to, well...go home to.  We're with my parents right now - they've generously rearranged their lives (and lots of furniture!) to make room for us.  There is a neighborhood pool right across the street and we're clocking lots of water time.  So far I very much wish I had left out my food processor and favorite cookbook.  Dustin left me out the jogging stroller and our bikes, but put their wheels in the pod.  Doh!

recent acquisition

In the process of shedding all sorts of *unnecessary* belongings, I did make one rather large addition.  Unfortunately, it's packed away in storage until we buy another house, but we put at least .25 miles on it before we left.

PS I haven't dumped the pics off my camera for a few weeks.  Paige had a great birthday, S&P had sweet little graduations, Noah is starting to pull up a bit, and we've officially welcomed summer.  Summer!!

my favorite

We had family pics taken this weekend.  A while back we bartered a photo session from my friend Carrie for swimming lessons, and then it kept getting put off because our bunch was growing and we weren't quite ready.  But we got it on the calendar for Spring 2013 and here we are!  This is my favorite.

blocks for each hand

Noah's room faces full East.  He wakes up first most days, and if I don't fall back asleep nursing (happens often) then we sit in his room and play with blocks in the quiet morning light.  We're having cool mornings, hot afternoons.  I like that.  Everyone is happy that picnic season is here once again.

they sleep

They look so sweet when they sleep - especially the exhausted-yet-still-defiant 4yr old, who fell asleep with her arms crossed...on the backdoor floormat.  Noah is finally starting to fall asleep in strollers (finally!).
