Now the garden is full of other things. The garlic came out last week. LG's Flower Garden is taking off and she cuts them often for our table. She turned a sweet 7 at the end of May and was thrilled to have donuts, butterfly cake, and dinner out. She continues to be generous and feisty, keeping me both on my toes and my knees. Her jokes are hilariously horrible, she's crazy for animals, and she wants to go, go, go. Love my Paigy.

beach break
They were so much fun at these ages, I can only imagine how much more fun the beach will get as our years go by. Adam wanted us to "just forget about that other house" and stay forever.

may day birthday
Dustin had a birthday a few weeks ago and Noah scampered right up into his lap when the candles came out. He spent the rest of the day singing Happy Birthday.

i hate that snake
We have a sweet mix of Spring sun and rainy days. Yesterday we found a 4' rat snake at the Greenway in Hixson and the park supervisor gave us an impromptu lesson about snakes. Half of Seth's library books are about venom these days, and they had quite the time trading fun facts. Noah sat through dinner last night mumbling to himself, "I hate that snake. I hate that snake." A good night's sleep did not improve his opinion of that snake (you might have to turn up your volume).
