swoop

I saw these on Pinterest and thought it would be a great corral for the Legos overtaking our house.  I also (naively) thought it would be a relatively easy project.  Why is it so difficult to sew in a circle?

First it looked like this (S got to choose the colors)

But the sides wouldn't stay up, so next it looked like this

Then I added interfacing and it looked like this

And finally it looks like this

It's a little ginormous.  But whatever.  This is a small fraction of the Legos stashed in the basement for future use.  If it keeps me from stepping on those tiny ones that kill your feet, then this was a success.
